Win a Freakin’ Laptop, Yo.

I got an email asking if I’d like to give away a HP dm3 notebook and thought, “Eh, I’m a little busy to blog. Sorry, Potential Winner.”

Someone is going to have a very merry Christmas this year! (Or happy Hanukkah, or a happy Winter Solstice, or a great Festivus.)

That’s right, I have an HP Pavillion dm3 Ultra-Thin Laptop to give away to one lucky reader.

What exactly does this little guy look like?

    I need a laptop for a million reasons. Most of which have to do with continuing to grow my business and wanting to have a way to make all my information portable. (There’s only so much you can keep track of via post-it note, right?)

    Also, a small part of me has always wanted to be one of those cool people who go to coffee shops to sit and work on their novel. (Because, again, there is only so much of a novel you can write on post-it notes, right?)

    I “need” this laptop because I want to start doing freelance writing and sharing a laptop is not very conducive to that. Sitting at the coffee shop reading blogs qualifies as a need too right?

    I need this laptop because I am working on starting up my own event planning business, and well…dragging around this huge PC wouldn’t work out too well when going to random coffee shops. I am starting my own business to avoid working a job I hate that is unrewarding and consistently compromises my values. Thanks for such an awesome giveaway!

    I need a laptop ’cause I’m having a baby on January 18th (no, really, it’s scheduled!), and my sons can’t come to the hospital (thanks to the H1N1 virus! Boo. Hiss.). If we had a laptop, we could video chat with them, so they can meet their new baby sister sooner, rather than waiting 4 days for us to come home.
    So, basically, the entire future relationship of my family is resting in your hands. No pressure. :)

    I *need* a laptop cause my DH is about to move to Michigan 4 months before I move w/the kids. DH is active duty military & just got orders. We have kids in school & really don’t want to pull them out (again) midway thru school. Especially our 15 YO who’s in 10th grade. If he had a laptop, we could still keep in touch easier than just by phone & he could see the boys (ages 5, 7 & 15) & they could see him. Not to mention he’d be looking for a house for us & he’d be able to send me info on the houses, doctors he talks to (one of the kids has to see a specialist) & he’d be able to get work done for work while he’s not at work. He gets calls all the time about “help me w/this, do this, do that, check what’s going on w/this Marine” & he actually does more work at home then he does when he’s at work. Gotta love when a crisis comes up!! Thanks so much for the chance!!!

    I NEED this!!! For one, because I am still paying off an expensive laptop I’d purchased back when I lived at home and had lots of extra money. That laptop didn’t even last two years :( :( :( Also, for less important reasons…I would be the happiest camper if I could sit on my couch by the fire and read blogs, browse Etsy, listen to music, etc.

    I need this laptop because with five teenagers (blended stepfamily), I sometimes have to hide out in a bathroom or other quiet spot to regain my sanity. A laptop would be the perfect companion for solace and sanity, lol! I could look up quick stress relief tips or even information on how to have myself committed to an asylum for a short vacation!     While I’d like to say that I need this laptop to write the next great American novel, I actually need it because my current one is dying and I’m a law student. So…it’s more like I need it to take class notes, write papers on criminal procedure, and outline for my corporations class next semester. But this summer? Totally writing the next great American novel. It’s about a mouse who leaves Russia and goes to New York.

    I run a daycare so I do some business on the computer it would be nice to bring it home with me. Plus I help my husband run a archary club so we need to keep everyones scores on the computer it be so helpful to beable to take one with me and do it at the club. So this would be a great xmas gift for me to make it just alittle bit easier.

    I NEED this laptop because I am a poor law student and I have terrible luck with them breaking! This would be so great to have in class to take notes on and do all my research with! This laptop sounds so so awesome and I would love to have it!!!
